The invisible belief keeping brilliant badasses exhausted

Growth is beautiful, but you were never meant to use it as proof that you are finally enough.

Today is about exhaustion, which apparently I’ve got.

And I want to talk about one of the lies, maybe THE lie, that keeps brilliant coaches just like you (okay…and me…), exhausted.

The lie that keeps us exhausted

There is this unconscious belief that creates a little friction inside us.

It sounds something like this:

  • Another strategy.
  • Another certification.
  • Another promise.
  • Another goal.
  • Another thing to fix.

That’s what you need to do to be brilliant, right?

Growth is beautiful. However… underneath that beautiful desire to grow, there can also be this belief that someday you’ll finally do enough.

You’ll finally achieve enough.

You’ll finally help enough.

You’ll finally earn enough.

You’ll finally feel worthy.

Does that sound familiar?

What if exhaustion is not the problem?

What if exhaustion is not coming from everything you are doing?

What if it is coming from the belief that your worth is still up for negotiation?

Many of the accomplished coaches I know are carrying an invisible burden. They are still trying to earn what was never meant to be earned, like their value, their belonging. Their right to rest.

And that is EXHAUSTING.

Growth is beautiful, but it can get heavy

There is nothing wrong with wanting to grow.

There is nothing wrong with learning, stretching, building, expanding, setting goals, or becoming more of who you are here to be.

But growth becomes heavy when every new strategy carries the secret hope that maybe THIS will finally make you enough.

Maybe this certification will make you credible enough.

Maybe this goal will make you successful enough.

Maybe this next program, next project, or next level will finally make you feel worthy.

You were never meant to earn this

So this week, the Winds of Wisdom whisper:

You were never supposed to earn your worth.

You were only ever meant to REMEMBER it.

Your value, your belonging, your right to rest, your right to take up space, and your right to receive were never meant to be prizes at the end of the race.

They were yours before the goals, the strategy, before the certification.

Before the exhaustion.

A summer invitation

If this resonates, I would absolutely love for you to take the next step…with me.

It’s July 14th. We are going to be talking all about the second half of summer, and how as a woman coach, especially in the midst of everything going on in summer, you still hold sacred what is dear to you versus getting exhausted from trying to do everything.

And guess why I picked it?

Because I can get really exhausted.

I am working so hard on myself with this too.

So if I am doing it, I imagine there have got to be some other people out there who are exhausted too, and who do not want to fake it that they are really not exhausted.

Remember: Your worth was never up for negotiation.

I hope to see you then.

Join me live on July 14th as we look at how to move through the second half of summer with more intention and self-trust. This workshop is especially for women coaches who are feeling the pull of clients, family, schedules, and expectations, and who want to protect what matters most without running themselves into the ground. Let’s make space for what is sacred, sustainable, and TRUE. Sign Up
