How to move forward this spring without tipping into burnout
A client who just completed the Wintering Q1 Sacred Spiral Program, when asked about the best result, stated, “I learned balance is possible while achieving my business goals.”
Amen, sister!
As I’m writing this, it’s just after St. Patrick’s Day. There’s a bit more light in the sky, a bit more warmth in the air, and that subtle feeling that something is shifting.
We’ve just moved through the equinox, one of those rare moments where the whole planet shares nearly equal light and darkness. It’s brief, yet meaningful. A natural pause point… A moment of balance.
And it got me thinking about how often we talk about balance in our own lives.
What if you didn’t have to force it?
For years, I’ve heard people say things like, “I need to rebalance my life,” or “I need better work-life balance.”
But what if balance isn’t something you have to chase?
Life, just like nature, moves in cycles. There are times of expansion and times of rest. Times when things feel bright and full, and times when things feel quieter or even uncertain.
Think of the moon. It spends part of its time fully illuminated, part of its time in darkness, and everything in between.
You are no different.
Balance might not mean holding everything evenly all the time. It might simply mean accepting where you are right now.
And, like my “Spiraler” said….it’s possible.
If YOU felt this way, what might be possible for YOU??
When more effort is actually aligned
I’m working with a client right now who is building something new. She’s in a season of growth, which naturally requires more energy, more focus, and more effort.
In that phase, balance doesn’t mean slowing everything down. It means being intentional.
It means asking:
- What are my non-negotiables?
- What keeps me grounded?
- What helps me avoid tipping into burnout?
Even when you’re capable of pushing through, that doesn’t mean you should do it without awareness.
You are part of nature, not separate from it
There’s a quiet truth we often forget: you are not outside of nature. You are part of it. Nature doesn’t force balance. It doesn’t strive for it or overthink it.
It moves through its cycles: light and dark > growth and rest > activity and stillness.
And the same is true for you.
So the next time you find yourself thinking, “I need to get back into balance,” pause for a moment.
Take a breath.
You are simply in a phase.
An invitation to move forward with intention
If this resonates with you, I’d love to continue this conversation.
In my upcoming workshop, Spring Into Action, we’ll focus on how to use this seasonal energy in a way that supports you, rather than overwhelms you.
We won’t be operating from pressure or urgency.
We’ll be working with clarity, intention, and sustainability.
If you feel called to join, now is a good time to say yes.
And until then, happy spring!
If you started your business for freedom with your time and money, but it still feels like there is an invisible ceiling on your income, this may be interesting to you.
My friend Julie Foucht is teaching a free masterclass about Akashic Record Money Codes. These are hidden energetic patterns that shape how much money we allow ourselves to receive.
In this masterclass Julie will share why brilliant, heart centered women often struggle with income even when their work changes lives and how to begin opening the channels for more money to flow.
