A different way to plan that actually feels like you

Why vision works best when it starts from who you already are

Welcome, 2026.

Here we are. A new year is beginning. This is usually when people start talking about goals.

Or not doing goals. Or visions. Or anti-visions.

I believe there is a lot of confusion and pressure hiding behind all of it.

If you are feeling pressured, please be assured that you don’t have to force yourself to plan your entire life. This is about finding a way forward that actually feels like YOU.

There’s a lot of talk these days about ditching goals altogether. And sometimes that advice is helpful. Sometimes it just leaves people floating with no direction at all.

Here’s the distinction I care about: before you decide what you’re doing, spend time with why you want anything in the first place.

I always recommend resisting the urge to think a thought and immediately lock it onto paper. Instead, slow down and notice what’s bubbling up underneath.

Desire is not fluff. Desire is information. It’s you being more of who you already are.

Let the outside world talk to your inside world

This is where people often get vision boards backwards.

Instead of deciding what you want and hunting for images to match it, try letting images, colors, shapes, or even random visuals come to you first. Flip through books. Look at art. Doodle. Wander a bit.

Doodle and wander tomorrow.

Notice what your body responds to. What makes you pause? What lights something up inside?

That moment of connection is important. That’s your inner truth recognizing itself in the outer world.

This is how vision becomes alive. You allow your insides to match your outsides.

Why this works so much better

When vision comes from alignment, execution stops feeling like a grind.

Decisions get simpler. Focus sharpens. You stop working quite so hard just to feel productive. For entrepreneurs especially, this matters more than we admit.

If you love your work but feel constantly busy, scattered, or tired, it’s worth examining that. Loving your work doesn’t mean you need to be running on fumes.

True clarity creates EASE. And ease means efficient, joyful, and sustainable.

The turn of the year comes with real momentum. We feel it whether we want to or not. Instead of rushing to control that energy, let it support you.

Flow happens faster when you stop pushing and start LISTENING.

For those who want to go deeper

Some people just want inspiration. Others want real results.

The deeper work isn’t for skating over your life or staying busy for the sake of being busy. It’s for people who are ready to pay attention, ask better questions, and create change that actually lasts.

Especially for business owners and coaches, this kind of clarity work changes everything. Your work and your life are not separate. When one shifts, the other follows.

What I want for you is the FASTEST and most FUN way to create what you desire. Less forcing.

More flow. More you.

So as the calendar turns, don’t rush to fill every page.

Welcome to a whole new blank book. Fresh pages. New chapters. A chance to rewrite YOUR story.
