An invitation to lead your business with clarity and confidence
February is here, and where I am in New Hampshire, it’s one of those perfect bluebird days. Bright sun, blue skies, and that winter beauty that makes you stop and breathe for a minute.
February brings more daylight, more sunshine, and yes, the month of love. Which makes it the perfect time to talk about something entrepreneurs don’t always like to admit we struggle with:
our relationship with money.
As overachievers, we’re wired to want more. That drive can be powerful, but it can also pull us into stress, scarcity, and exhaustion if we’re not paying attention.
This month, I want to invite you to do something different.
I want you to love on your money.
Gratitude for what comes in
One of the simplest and most overlooked practices is gratitude for money as it arrives.
That might sound obvious, but many of us barely notice it. Money comes in and immediately gets assigned to a bill, an expense, or a future worry.
Instead, pause.
If you receive unexpected money, a rebate, a gift, a refund, or a check you didn’t even remember was coming, take a moment to acknowledge it.
Say thank you.
Let yourself feel appreciation for that flow of abundance. Gratitude doesn’t make you complacent. It grounds you.
Why cash flow matters more than mindset alone
As business owners, we can’t operate without cash flow. We can’t operate without capital. No matter how meaningful your work is, a business without financial stability doesn’t survive long enough to make an impact.
I see so many entrepreneurs teetering on the edge of scarcity and exhaustion, often tied directly to money, even when they say they don’t care about it.
That’s why I’m excited to welcome Penny from Pennywise Consulting as my guest. She helps people get out of debt and regain financial footing in practical, actionable ways.
