How to stay centered, not scattered despite the Here Come The Holidays

Stop the Spin: make space for what matters

We’ve done it. We’ve turned the calendar to November. And you know what that means: holidays, family, gatherings, goals, all the things.

This is the time of year when routines fly out the window and your brain says, “Eh, I’ll start again in January.”

WAIT.

Before you throw your habits to the wind, let’s talk about what I call the Sacred Routine. It’s your path to PEACE and PRESENCE during the holidays. Think of it as structure as self-care, ritual as renewal.

Important points regarding Sacred Routine:

  1. Make sure your routine is very easy. For example: I stretch as my coffee is being made.
  2. Know WHY you are doing it. Otherwise you will ditch it. For example: I stretch so that my back and foot don’t complain.
  3. If you skip a day, quickly forgive yourself and do your routine when you think of it, or, the next day. You are worth the forgiveness!

Your Nervous System Is Everything

The holidays are supposed to be joyful, but for many of us, they feel like a tug-of-war between obligations and temptations.

You want to rest, but your mind keeps running loops about next year’s goals, unfinished projects, or how to serve your clients better. That’s why a sacred routine matters more than ever.
It’s all about staying GROUNDED. It’s how you remind your body and your mind:

“You’re SAFE. You’re STEADY. You’re HOME.”

Without a regulated nervous system, nothing else works.

A short daily rhythm, like meditation, journaling, movement, is your anchor. It’s not doing more; it’s creating a pocket of peace that tells your whole being, “You’re good. You’ve got this.”

Protect Your Energy – It’s Sacred

Coaches and entrepreneurs are givers by nature. But without boundaries, even generosity becomes depletion.

Your energy is your currency – protect it with sleep, hydration, and spiritual check-ins.

Call it ENERGY HYGIENE.

When you honor your rhythm, you don’t just feel better, you lead better. You model calm leadership for your clients, your team, and your world.

Presence Is The New Productivity

This season, productivity doesn’t mean more hustle. It means PRESENCE. It means saying yes to what matters and no to what doesn’t.

A short daily reflection keeps you tethered to your purpose.

Momentum is about doing what aligns.

I’m inviting you

If this speaks to your soul – if you’re ready to stay steady and vibrant through the season – join me for the Momentum Series.

We’ll meet six times over seven weeks, ending the week of Christmas (and yes, Solstice energy is in the air!).

This is your time to keep your energy high, your mind clear, and your heart open, so that when January comes, you’re not starting over… you’re already in FLOW.

Let’s move what’s in your way.

This season, stay sacred, steady, and unstoppable.
