But hey, I’ve got good news to flip that script, ’cause you know I always bring the good vibes.   1. Firstly, make it small. Like, tiny. Jim Quick’s Tiny Habits book is gold – start with something as simple as flossing one tooth a day. Small steps, big wins.
  2. Second tip – make it repeated. Hook that new habit onto something you already do, like my morning coffee routine. It’s all about making it a part of your daily rhythm.
  1. And the grand finale, tip three – it has to be important, like really important. Not just the surface-level health goals (though those are awesome), but dig deep into what truly matters to you. Your career, your impact, your legacy – that’s the game-changer.

I was reading Forbes earlier, and guess what? Most folks set health goals, which is fantastic. But here’s the kicker – 

Very few of us go all-in on their career, 

their influence, 

the things that light their soul on fire.

Let that sink in. What do you really want? Look at your calendar and your checkbook- that’s what your actions say you want.

If that is NOT what you want, you can change direction. Really. Embrace those small steps, repeat them until they’re second nature, and make sure they align with what truly sets your soul ablaze. Join me on February 5th, where we’ll dive even deeper into this transformational journey.

Beyond Resolutions: Navigating the journey of change in 2024

Stop complaining and tolerating mediocrity

I came across this brilliant insight today, and it really struck a chord with me. Rich Litvin, author of the Prosperous Coach book said…

 “It’s easier to go after what you really, really want than

 accomplishing what you think you can get.” 

Isn’t that powerful? So often we don’t think beyond what we believe is possible.

Now we’re in January, the month of renewal and resolutions. We all start with these sentences, these aspirations. Whether it’s getting fit, going vegan, running right – you name it. But let’s face it, by the third week, that enthusiasm tends to dwindle. Blue Monday hits, and suddenly we’re feeling blue because those big plans haven’t materialized.

Gyms are bustling in January, but come February, it’s a ghost town. We even joke about it – gyms should transform into wine bars by then. But hey, there’s another way to approach this, and if you’re intrigued, stick around.

True leaders follow an upward spiral. They dream big, go deep, and take tiny, weeny steps – much smaller than they ever imagined. They create space for their dreams and surround themselves with inspiring, supportive folks who push them to new heights.

Now, let me share a big takeaway from our Reclaim 2024 workshop on January 8th. Ten people sought something different, focusing on their health journey. They recognized that their health was a key factor holding them back. Clarity, inspiration, and hope were their goals. (you can still buy the replay here)

The path to personal empowerment in 2024

Reclaiming Your health, defining your purpose, and cultivating a confident, successful life and business

Happy January to everyone!

As I write this message, I am still buzzing with inspiration from an incredible workshop where we explored reclaiming our lives, sovereignty, and aligning with our true desires in 2024. The intimate gathering, around 10 individuals, shared profound insights about seeking inspiration, clarity, and hope.

One prevalent theme that emerged was the desire to reclaim health as the foundation for a fulfilling life. Participants expressed struggles with brain fog affecting decision-making, a yearning for better body love, and a fundamental need for increased energy. The realization was clear: with restored energy, everything becomes possible.

Addressing health became a crucial focus during the workshop and subsequent follow-up sessions. Many participants recognized the need to prioritize themselves, steering away from letting others define them or their agendas. The common thread was the acknowledgment that personal energy is essential for making positive changes.

Now, let me share a visual representation of the journey we discussed. 

Health serves as the initial mountain to climb, the basis for all subsequent endeavors. I invite you to join me in dedicating this month to focusing on your health. 9 essential steps to help you avoid tapping out

I have outlined nine essential steps to help you avoid tapping out, and be your badass self in both your business and personal life. Contrary to common beliefs, it’s not about starting with time management or pushing yourself to be more efficient. 

Here’s what you might be contemplating:

  • Do you often feel like you’re wasting time on various tasks?
  • Do you consider yourself a creative genius who struggles with time efficiency?
  • Do you believe you need to become more efficient with your time?

While these thoughts are not entirely incorrect, it’s essential to recognize when you’re approaching burnout. Many individuals, including myself, experienced this last year. In these moments, it feels as if life is unraveling, and acknowledging this is the crucial first step.

  1. Recognize Burnout: Acknowledge when you’re nearing burnout or feeling tapped out. This self-awareness is valuable.This year, I felt as though my life was getting ripped away from me, like everything I knew was literally coming apart.  If you feel like that or something similar, you know are in step one.
  2. Rest: While counterintuitive, this is critical as a second step. Embrace different forms of rest based on your needs, whether it’s an extra hour in bed or other rejuvenating activities. Listen to your body and mind.
  3. Deep Rest: Prioritize deep rest for true restoration, especially if you’re severely tired or on the brink of burnout. It’s crucial for personal rejuvenation and creating your best work.
  4. Open Space: Create mental or physical open spaces for yourself. Whether it’s lying on the grass or finding solitude in a room, these spaces help recharge your creativity.
  5. Tap into Creativity: Unlock newfound creativity by being open to it. Instead of pushing yourself, allow creativity to flow naturally. 
  6. Flow: Enter the flow state where newfound creativity expands. This step requires patience and time, ensuring you’re ready to pull this creativity into the world. I’m working on Patience this year. Who is with me?
  7. Time Management: Once you’ve found your flow, focus on effective time management. Align it with your values and adjust as needed for increased efficiency.
  8. Efficiency: When you are accustomed to listening to yourself first, that’s when you become efficient. Not the other way around. This helps TONS when we navigate crises and unexpected events. Your rested and creative state positions you to handle challenges more effectively.
  9. Balance: Seek balance in both your work and personal life. Understand that time is a social construct, and achieving a harmonious blend is the key. And you will never get it to be perfect, so abandon that notion for peace.
